"Mommy, Look What I Made For you! "

My boys love to "make" food for me and Eugene. Even Justin brings me the play food and pots and tells me to eat. The above meal was prepared by Tyler which is kinda ironic since he detests hamburgers. I don't know why since he hasn't even had one bite of a hamburger but he is very stubborn about his food choices. I love the fact that Tyler was considerate to have a drink and utensil as well. Can you tell that Tyler's household duty is to set the table? So here's a tidbit from our conversation:

T: Mommy, look what I made for you!

Me: It looks so delicious. Thank you! May I ask why you won't eat a hamburger but you can make one with all the fixings?

T: Mom, I don't like to eat hamburgers. I just like to make them.

I"m sure Tyler being a male will change his mind one day and be a burger lover. I cherish the fact that my boys can "make" food. I can't wait to eat the fruit of their labor some day.
